From Screen to Vehicle

Ever wondered how we get to the final product? Vehicle or fleet graphics, starting from design to cut and print then finally the application... Let us step you through the process.

Quote, Design and Proofing

Once a customer has accepted their quote (and hopefully paid a deposit!) we move on to the design stage. Using photographs of the desired location whether a building sign or in this case a vehicle graphic we always try to design in situ. We will design a proof match/select the colours to be used and make any changes required. Once the customer is 100% happy with the final proof we ask for a final approval.

Production, Printing, Cutting, Laminating

Once we have ordered any materials required we will start in production. Whether a digitally printed adhesive vinyl with protective overlaminate is chosen or a computercut/pre-coloured vinyl, the design file is output to either our HP Latex printer or Roland plotter.

Weeding, and Preparation

Once the vehicle graphics are ready we will transition to the bench and prepare the vinyl/print for final application. Using application tape for any 'cut' vinyl all graphics are cut down and ready to be applied to the vehicle.

Utilising our dedicated, clean, safe and secure vehicle application and wrapping location we move the vehicle in, give it a good and thorough clean preparing the surface for application.

Application

Finally the graphics are layed out on the vehicle in their desired final location. Once we have measured ensuring the graphics and straight and aligned we remove the backing paper and apply the vinyl using a squeegee. Experience, patience and consistency while using high quality vinyls and the right tools ensure the application goes smooth and achieves the desired result!
